I was born in Pittsburgh, PA but walked to Syracuse, NY with my mother at the age of 4. Someday, I might tell you the story behind all of that. I grew up in the South and West sides of Syracuse and attended Catholic schools–Cathedral and Bishop Ludden High School. I met my future wife in high school and we are celebrating our 36th year of marriage this year. I have four grown children and five grandchildren. I have to say they are all beautiful, intelligent and loving people–we have been very blessed.
Right after high school, I served in the U.S. Air Force for six years of active duty and a couple of years in the Reserves. I graduated from Onondaga Community College and went on to complete my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at LeMoyne College. I am in the process of completing my MBA in Healthcare Management at St. Leo’s University.
I have had several years experience in sales, marketing, networking and management. I have worked in private corporations and also in the human service field with non-profit organizations. In recent years, I have been a mortgage originator and have become an Account Executive offering merchant services to businesses over the last year or so.
I have had a wide variety of work and personal experiences over the years and at 56 years of age, I have decided to try to transfer my skills to the Internet with the intention of building a business online. I am interested in a few different areas, so I will be sharing something about the different projects I am working on. I will also be setting up a few different sites that will focus on my different activities and interests. This site will be my central one.
As I mentioned, I have had extensive experience in sales and marketing over the years and I am eager to see how I can use those skills on the Internet. It’s a totally different environment, but I suspect that some of the dynamics are still the same–people are people and building relationships has always been the key, in my experience. I will approach this work with the same idea–that I am looking forward to meeting new people and building great relationships that benefit everyone involved.
